With over 21 years of experience as a visual effects artist and producer, Daniel J. Kelly is a commercial director based in Toronto, Canada. Originally from the UK and a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, Dan has collaborated with high-end commercial clients while working locally in London, New York, L.A. and Montreal. In London Dan worked at The Mill, Framestore, LipSync Post and Cinesite where he was one of five flame artists on Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. With his move to Toronto Dan opened The Faculty VFX in 2012, a post facility which has the ability to curate highly mobile teams of artists to meet the unique needs of every commercial project.
