Bio

Dale Heslip is a gifted storyteller with strong visual design. His style can be attributed to the many disciplines he’s crafted throughout his eclectic career – work that includes Television, Documentaries, Commercials, Animation, Music Videos and Concert Films. 

 Dale was part of the 2021 team that produced the celebrated AMAZON series “ALL OR NOTHING | TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS”.

“TIME STAND STILL”, his Paul Rudd narrated film on rock trio RUSH, received 5-star reviews on its way to winning the 2018 CANADIAN SCREEN AWARD for BEST BIO DOCUMENTARY while the companion concert film “R40 LIVE” debuted at number one on Billboard. 

“NAMES ON THE CUP”, narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, celebrated the history of the Stanley Cup and was nominated for a 2018 CSA. 

Dale‘s credits include the RON JAMES SHOW on CBC – hundreds of commercials for clients like ADIDAS, CIBC and SONY.

“THE TRUTH ABOUT HEAD” a quirky short that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival winning 4 awards and drawing comparisons to Tim Burton and Mad Magazine.  

Dale’s work is proof that he’s a versatile and focused storyteller. His childlike curiosity adds a playful and clever charm to his films. In his words “Film is the closest thing we have to TIME TRAVEL” and with Dale driving, you know the trip will be fantastic.
