Andrew Osborne is a funny guy who makes funny videos. A lifelong filmmaker, Andrew started a production company out of his parent’s basement in 2016 and has been directing full-time ever since. From humble beginnings making explainer videos for local tech start-ups, Andrew worked his way up to creating video content for globally-recognized brands such as PepsiCo, Ford and IBM, and billion-dollar companies like EY, Teva, and RSM.
Beyond directing, Andrew is also a copywriter and editor. He comes from the DIY school, where if you want to make a video, you have to do everything. He believes that casting the right actors and creating a fun, positive atmosphere on set is the best way to ‘make funny happen.’ (Shaking the actors and screaming “Make funny happen!” also works).
Andrew’s work has played on national TV in the US and Canada, at a Cineplex movie theatre, and at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
